Lightroom CC is now a new(ish) Lightroom. (Yes, I agree, I hate the name too, but that’s what it’s now called). Pretend they were about to call it Lightroom 7 and then at the last minute they decided to change the name to Classic, got it? Lightroom 7 is now Lightroom Classic. (Just forget that they called it Lightroom CC last year, drop the CC, get selective amnesia). Whaaa? Let’s start with naming.įirst of all, Lightroom Classic is just a rename from the Lightroom we all know and love, you know, Lightroom 1-6. I know what you’re thinking, because we have all been through it. I’ll also share all the new features and my suggestions. Who it’s for, how it will affect you and your photos and what you should do now.
